WelcomeArchitecture is a site which desires to build buildings that will
last over 700 years, or it could be stated, permanent building.

This is to establish stability in the minds of those inhabiting each
building.

The designs carry over, into the construction, the expression 'to stay.' It is to become present in the building's presence with the message 'to remain' and is to be built of materials allowing this to happen. From that, a land connection is seen
as possible and a mental security is imagined from the quality of timelessness in unity with the land.

The eternal character of the land is to pass through the building as
sameness uniting it with the land, making it acceptable to the human desire
'to stay,' even though that desire is constantly contradicted by the
finitude of human existence in every moment.

- Edwin Harold Clark, Architect

Three buildings are previewed on the website at this time: The Kristin House, a limited-run concrete home meant to last from 700 to 1000 years, the Avalon House, a pre-fabricated, single family dwelling with modular components, and the Egg House, a country home designed to bridge the space between Earth and Sky.
